Join Haumanu Collective for kōrero about taonga puoro Māori – Māori musical instruments. Learn the stories and connect to our musical history.

Facilitated by James Webster and Libby Gray, members of the Haumanu Collective will explore the journey of Haumanu, and discuss what their aspirations are for the future.

Haumanu Collective are dedicated to the retention and revitalisation of tāonga pūoro. Supported by Ministry of Culture and Heritage and Creative New Zealand this event aims to celebrate this taonga tuku iho

Registration is essential to attend this event in person.

The panel talk will be streamed online. Check back here on the day.

There is also a taonga pūoro workshop from 11am–2pm, and an evening concert from 6.30pm–9.30pm.
