Arahura marae Taonga Pūoro Wānanga

14th - 16th February 2025 | Arahura Marae, Hokitika

Experience the transformative power of taonga pūoro in an unforgettable wānanga set against the serene backdrop of Arahura Marae, Hokitika. Haumanu Collective invites you to immerse yourself in this three-day journey of cultural discovery, creativity, and connection.

Why Attend?

Taonga pūoro, the sacred Māori instruments, carry the whispers of our tūpuna, connecting us to the whenua, the heavens, and ourselves. • Create Your Own Taonga Pūoro: Craft your own instrument to take home, carrying a piece of this unique journey with you.
  • Whanaungatanga: Build connections with a vibrant community of learners and experts while sharing kai and kōrero.
